Tutoring

Free virtual after-school tutoring is offered to every School District of Philadelphia student.

How it Works

Virtual after-school tutoring is organized into four 6-week cycles, two days a week: Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday

The remaining cycles are:
January 8th – February 15th
February 26th – April 11th

  • If a student is already rostered and would like to continue receiving tutoring services there is no need to re-register.
  • Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.  Your student may be placed on a waitlist once the grade and subject slots are filled.
  • Unfortunately, students from charter, private, or parochial schools are not eligible. Please contact your school to determine what may be available for your student.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at tutoring@philasd.org
