Each year, more than 130,000 students, parents and guardians, teachers, and principals participate in a survey about their schools. The District-Wide Survey (DWS) provides information about what is working and what needs to be improved in areas related to quality of the academic experience, safety of the learning environment, academic tenacity, teacher engagement, negative affect, equity, parent-school partnerships, and District performance. This report provides an analysis of the findings from the 2013-14 Student and Parent & Guardian Surveys.
