We want to better engage with the communities we serve and address key District governance matters. One way that we are working toward this is through our [developing] Parent & Community Advisory Council. We are in the process of selecting 12 individuals who will work together to develop plans that produce real results and encourage engagement among parents/caregivers and community members; develop action steps to increase participation on yearly District-wide surveys; and provide feedback by serving as a link between school communities and the Board. Together this committee will increase Parent & Community Engagement and help us to all come together to make the best decisions for our children.
