The School District of Philadelphia Department of Transportation Services provides bus transportation services to more than 41,000 students via more than 2000 routes to and from 255 public schools, 123 charter schools, and more than 440 non-public schools in and around the city of Philadelphia. The School District of Philadelphia Department of Transportation Services also provides more than 65,000 public TransPasses to eligible students.
School District of Philadelphia buses are monitored by a global positioning system (GPS) to help ensure an efficient, safe and secure transportation system. Our GPS-equipped buses enable the District to track the location of our vehicles and help promote safety and route efficiency.
Our Fleet
The School District of Philadelphia Department of Transportation Services operates more than 450 District-owned school buses for all eligible students.
