Teresa Fleming was hired in May 2016 as a Data Analyst in Transportation Services and promoted to Director of Vendor Management in May 2017. Teresa oversees the contracts to and from school transportation that operates approximately 1,110 bus and non-bus routes. She manages nearly 20 approved contracted transportation companies. Teresa leads the Vendor Management team that consists of five team members that manage contract compliance and special needs transportation. During her tenure, she has onboarded five new transportation companies, four of which are Minority/Women-owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE) certified.

Teresa holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University and a Master’s of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management. Prior to coming to the District, Teresa worked as a Business Data Analyst for Nine West Holdings Company for several years. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering with the youth in her community and shopping.
