Vernon Palmer joined the School District in 1997 and was recently promoted to Senior Regional Manager to serve the Southern half of Philadelphia. During his tenure, Vernon has served in many roles throughout our District.

Most recently in his role as Interim Assistant Director of Operations, Vernon was tasked with the responsibility of ensuring that schools are operating in a manner that promotes cleanliness, safety, productivity, and comfort. He works alongside his team of Facilities Area Managers, Building Engineers, Custodial Staff, Truck Drivers, Warehouse Personnel, and Field and Ground Support Staff to tackle Facilities projects focused on ultimately leading to schools re-opening.
