Wayne Howard has worked for the School District of Philadelphia for 27 years. Wayne started his career in the Office of Foods Services. He later completed the B.E.T. Program and became a Building Engineer. Through hard work and dedication, he advanced to become a Capital Building Construction Inspector.

Wayne’s current duties include managing the construction of various projects, including a new roof at Taylor Elementary, new interior doors and hardware at Sheridan, new lighting at Pennypacker, and new schoolyard improvements at Farrell. Past projects include Wilson’s major renovation, the GESA energy-efficient projects at Carnell and Lincoln, mechanical upgrade projects at Cramp and Munoz-Marin, and classroom modernization projects in several schools.
