The School District of Philadelphia will loan a Chromebook to every District K-12 student who needs one. The loaner program is free however all devices must be returned once schools reopen.
Students will be expected to bring their District-issued Chromebooks on the first day of school, so it’s important that they check their computers beforehand, to make sure they are working as needed.
If they are not, we want families and students to beat the rush and stop by one of the District’s three Parent and Family Tech Support Centers, which operate Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
If you have never picked up a District Chromebook for your child, you can call your child’s school to schedule an appointment to pick up the device there. To have your Chromebook repaired, visit one of our Technology Support Centers.
