Beth has been a part of the School District of Philadelphia since 2006. She started out as a computer science teacher and moved into leadership roles such as reading curriculum coordinator and school-based teacher leader. Her strengths include, analyzing data and working with teachers to use the data to drive their instruction and move their students to the next level. She believes that when technology is integrated into instruction, student engagement significantly increases and students experience greater success. Students, as well as teachers, use technology in all aspects of their lives. The classroom is a place to take the love students have for their devices and channel it into making their education more engaging and relevant to their lives.
