Program Benefits
Apprentices will be employed by the District and earn a salary during the apprenticeship.
Apprentices are eligible for health insurance, paid time off and a pension.
At the end of their fourth year, graduated apprentices will become certified mechanics in their trade and may matriculate into full-time employment with the District earning at least $47k in salary.
The Apprenticeship is completely free of cost.
Eligible applicants must: 
- Have at least 6 CTE credits or equivalent work experience.
- Have earned a high school diploma or GED.
- Meet all District pre-employment requirements.
