Kate Paquette is an experienced educator and technology coach, with over a decade of experience in staff development and technology integration. Kate previously taught both technology and business courses at New Media Technology Charter School in Philadelphia, PA. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she gained valuable experience in technology training, staff development, and Project-Based Learning. During her time at NMTCS, Kate was selected to join a cohort of teachers to receive digital literacy training through Temple University’s Media Education Lab, which helped to inform her work writing and implementing digital citizenship curriculum.

In her next role, she joined the Chichester School District as an instructional technology coach, providing ongoing professional development for teachers and staff members. In this role, Kate was responsible for providing technology training and integration support throughout the district, working closely with both building and district administrators. Kate worked under the Keystones to Opportunity grant, and worked closely with Chichester’s State and Federal Programs Liaison, to help fulfill grant requirements. Kate was also very proud to help Chichester Cyber Academy, serving as the program’s coordinator in its first year. In this role, Kate was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the program.

Kate began working as a technology integration coach for the School District of Philadelphia in August 2018. In this role, Kate is responsible for providing educational technology support and coaching to K-12 teachers throughout the District.

Kate has earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Seton Hall University and a Master of Science in Instructional Technology from St. Joseph’s University. Kate is certified in K-12 Business, Computers and Information Technology, and holds a PA Instructional Technology Specialist certificate.
