STUDENT VOICE ADVISORY BOARD
Student Advisors will:
- Represent perspectives from students in partner programs
- Provide feedback on their experiences in partner programming at their school to OSP
- Offer recommendations for program improvements
- Identify gaps in program types offered and students served
- Collaborate with OSP on projects or conduct research projects
- Receive training on mentorship and youth empowerment from Mentor IR
Schedule
SVAB meets twice a month (every other Friday) – for one hour – from 4:00 to 5:00 PM at the School District of Philadelphia’s Central Office located at 440 N. Broad Street.

At the start of the year, SVAB Advisors had the opportunity to express their goals and identify their interest areas for SVAB. As a collective, they voted to address the following 4 goals to center our projects/activities on. View the full list of priorities and goals here.

I want to access District data about school partnerships and needs.

I see a gap in program offerings at my school/between schools.

I want to advocate for a change in programming.
