Our Vision
The Office of Teaching and Learning supports the School District of Philadelphia’s vision – for all children, a great school, close to where they live.
The Office of Teaching and Learning provides year-round support and professional development opportunities for all district teachers. While newly hired teachers are required to participate in some events, any teacher can request coaching, attend Tune Up Tuesday events, benefit from the annual Teacher Symposium or find support from their peers via the Video Library and Teacher Info Board. Our office is committed to serving both teachers and students to fulfill the District’s goal of providing great schools for all children.
