RSVP Tutoring Programs for Grades Pre-K-5
About: RSVP Tutoring programs offer unique and easily accessible tools to engage students with screened and eager volunteers. Classroom volunteers work closely with teachers to provide guidance and coaching that match their curriculum and lesson plans. Additional educator resources are outlined on the RSVP website here
America Reads Program:
-Students Grade Pre-K-5.
-The classroom volunteer works closely with teacher in virtual classrooms to provide support guided by teacher/reading specialist.
-Meets once-twice a week and the teacher determines day/time/amount of time per session.
-Option for one on one or small group instruction.
-Classroom volunteers have access to ebooks.
Virtual After-School Reading Program:
-Students Grade K-5.
-Out of school program with direct parent enrollment.
-Students are provided with an ebook account so that they can practice reading with their classroom volunteer and discuss the story together afterward.
-Tracks each student’s reading progress and features a report to parents.
-Classroom volunteers meet with their students online for 30-minute sessions once-twice a week.
